Chaddlewood Preschool Obtains Bronze Wellbeing at Work Award!

The Wellbeing at Work team is delighted to announce that Chaddlewood Preschool has successfully obtained the Bronze Wellbeing at Work Award, recognising its commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of its staff.

Chaddlewood Preschool is a small setting and understands the importance of creating a positive and supportive workplace where every team member feels valued and heard. Led by its Wellbeing Champion, Victoria Methven, the preschool has introduced a range of initiatives to promote both physical and mental wellbeing, including regular wellbeing check-ins, monthly wellbeing newsletters, access to support services, and staff recognition programmes.

Staff feedback has played a key role in shaping the setting’s wellbeing approach. A staff wellbeing survey helped identify priorities and informed the development of a Wellbeing Action Plan, ensuring that wellbeing initiatives reflect the needs of the workforce.

Jennifer Jenkins, Specialist Health Improvement Practitioner, at Livewell Southwest, said:

‘Achieving the Bronze Wellbeing at Work Award demonstrates Chaddlewood Preschool’s dedication to fostering a healthy, positive workplace culture and provides a strong foundation for continued wellbeing development in the future.’

Victoria Methven, Business Manager, Chaddlewood Pre-school, said:

‘Thank you for recognising the importance of our wellbeing work.  My aim has always been to make sure all staff feel listened to and supported as well as being celebrated for the amazing job they do every day.’

Congratulations to the team at Chaddlewood Preschool on this well-deserved achievement.
