NHS Health Check
An NHS Health Check is a great way to receive personalised advice on staying healthy and active. As we age, the risk of developing conditions such as heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, or dementia increases. These checks help identify potential health issues early, offering guidance and support to help you take steps toward a healthier lifestyle.
NHS Health Checks are suitable for workplaces with at least 50 % of their workforce living in Plymouth and registered with a Plymouth GP. We will provide health checks for a minimum of 6 eligible employees for those in the ages of 40-74 years old, with no pre-existing conditions. Workplaces with a small number of staff (we will not visit for any less than 6 eligible staff members ) can promote our community health checks which are available in various settings across the city and can be booked by calling our One You Plymouth on 01752437177.
