Mental Health First Aid Refresher

Continue on your MHFA qualification with our competitively priced Mental Health First Aid Refresher Training for businesses and communities within Plymouth.

Aiming to empower Mental Health First Aiders® who have previously completed the two-day MHFA course within the last 3 years, this refresher is a four-hour long in-person session which updates knowledge and allows MHFAiders® to practice their skills. This course is a great way to demonstrate your commitment to treating mental health and physical health equally both in your workplace or out in the community

You will also reaffirm your listening skills, learn ways to show reassurance and respond confidently, even when a crisis occurs – or even prevent a situation from happening by recognising warning signs of mental illness. You will also remind yourself of the skills and approaches to supporting someone while keeping your safety in mind.

Please note: All MHFA England Instructor Members are accredited by the Royal Society of Public Health.

You must be 18+ to attend this course.

This course is available only for those living or working within the Plymouth community.

Course Information

By booking Mental Health First Aid Refresher you will gain:

  • Confidence to guide someone who needs mental health support.
  • A deeper understanding of mental health and the factors that affect people’s wellbeing.

Refund Policy

If you are unable to attend with less than 48 hours notice you will incur a 50% charge for your booking and will be invoiced accordingly.

If the workshop is cancelled by The Wellbeing Training Team, you will be offered a place on a course, on an alternative date.
